On a moonlit night, who is it that you think of?
When you are asleep, what is it that you dream of?
When you pick up your brush, do you sometimes write my name?
Were you happy to meet me? Do you believe in my love?
I wonder about all of this when I think of you.
How much do you long for me throughout the day?
If you think of me when you are busy,
Does it annoy you or make you happy?
Even though I chatter like a sparrow, is your love unchanged?
